JD joined Mills in August 2014 after previously working in nursing administration and the education department at Essentia Health- St. Joseph's Medical Center. He was also assistant manager for five years at Foot Locker. With a passion for racing, JD has worked in nearly every department at Brainerd International Raceway since 2005, including safety, security, tech inspection and start line. He is a graduate of Brainerd High School and Central Lakes College with degrees in business management and hospitality. JD is an American Heart Association basic life support instructor, Brainerd Area Sertoma Club board member, is serving a term on the Brainerd Charter Commission, and a high school basketball referee with the Lakes Area Officials Assn. JD and his wife, Krystal, live in Brainerd. Besides races at local/area tracks, JD also enjoys golf, fishing, and attending concerts.  Connect with JD on Facebook!

Prior to joining the Mills team in November 2021, Alan had been working in the automotive industry 37 years, most recently serving as Service Director at Waschke Auto Plaza in Virginia, MN.  With a 25-year history working for General Motors, over the years Alan has served in positions such as District Service Manager, Body Shop Manager, Service Manager and as General Manager.  "I started my career as a Service Advisor, and this is the job I enjoy," Alan said.  Alan grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan and after high school went on to earn an Associate's Degree in Auto Service and Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Management from Ferris State College in Big Rapids, Michigan.  A member of the Ely Rotary Club for 10 years, and parents of 2 grown daughters, Alan and his wife moved to their current home in Baxter in May 2021.  When he's not working, Alan enjoys fishing, deer hunting and riding ATV.

Jon joined the Mills team in Nov. 2021 bringing 20+ years of experience in the automotive field, most recently working as a Mobile Autoglass Technician for ABRA Auto Glass.  Other positions he's held in the past include working in the U.S. Army Military Police, Loss Prevention for Target and Walmart, Lube and Tire Technician, and Manager.  Jon grew up in Blackduck, MN attending Blackduck Public High School.  Married with 2 grown kids, Jon and his wife now live in Lake Shore with their dog "Grunt" and cat "Jinx".  When he's not working, Jon enjoys spending time outdoors "hunting both bird and deer, camping and fishing," he said.
